The Challenge

Hydra Lips' existing packaging was bland and did not capture the attention of potential customers. Additionally, their digital presence lacked the visual sophistication necessary to attract and retain a beauty-conscious audience. The brand needed a comprehensive solution to improve both its physical and digital presentation, thereby boosting sales and customer engagement.

Philips, as a leader in healthcare innovation, is well positioned to address this gap by reimagining preoperative workflows through the lens of Medi-Smart - a concept that blends virtual and augmented reality with diagnostic tools to enhance clarity, precision, and shared decision-making. Current solutions are often limited in accessibility, interactivity, or personalisation, which can contribute to patient anxiety and reduce procedural confidence.

By exploring the integration of VR/AR platforms within Philips' product ecosystem, this project seeks to empower both patients and practitioners through immersive surgical visualisation, scenario planning, and enhanced information delivery. Addressing this challenge offers the potential to elevate the preoperative experience, reduce risk, and redefine how healthcare is delivered before a single incision is made.

The Solution

We created elegant packaging for HydraLips' lip balm, featuring soft colors and floral illustrations, enhancing shelf appeal and reflecting the brand's quality. Our digital strategy included a website overhaul and social media redesign, maintaining a cohesive brand image. Comprehensive guidelines were established for consistent branding across all platforms.

The Result

The elegant packaging and refined digital design significantly enhanced HydraLips’ brand recognition and customer engagement. The new packaging attracted more customers in retail environments, while the improved digital presence boosted online interactions and sales.
